Josef completed his cosmetology course at Vici Capilli Beauty School in 1999, He has been trained across the country on a variety of techniques including: Styling, cutting, and up-styling by KEVIN.MURPHY, men’s cutting by American Crew, and razor cutting by Bumble & Bumble University in NYC. After being part of the original team that opened Freya Salon in 2007, in 2023 Josef stepped down from ownership so that he could give his full focus to his clients. Josef no longer offers color services and instead focuses on haircutting exclusively. Currently he spends his spare time teaching hair cutting for our in-salon Assistant training program. Overall, Josef is an easy going, down to earth guy who really enjoys discussing board games.

All haircut pricing is time-based. New clients can expect to start out with a 2 hour appointment for their first visit, to allow time for a thorough assessment, consultation, and execution of their customized haircut.
